What came out?
Japan came out high (to our surprise), but Italy also scored very well. In view of regulations and local teams, it seemed a bit illogical and unnecessarily difficult to us to start first in Japan, so we launched in Italy!

The result:
After a few test campaigns (with varying degrees of success), Italy now seems to be really catching on: low acquisition costs and clear interest. Apparently, not only Dutch people, but also Italians really want our app. 📚🚀

Without Arjan and his method, we would probably have chosen the safe way and chosen a country that felt more like the Netherlands — like Sweden. Glad that we have embarked on this process, and that our internationalization is going well so far! 💪"
